No football fan would ever want the European League season to end.

The top five football leagues are nearing their last matchdays, and after that, there will be a long hiatus in football. Yes, we will still witness the UEL and UCL finals in the coming months, but would that satisfy our hunger for breathtaking football? I guess not!

Nevertheless, some of the top five European leagues have already declared a winner. But that is not what matters the most. Right now, some top European clubs are fighting for a UCL and UEL spot.

And that is what makes the final few matchdays worth watching.

So, before this European football season ends, why don’t we explore the top five leagues and analyze which teams would reserve a spot at next year’s UCL and UEL competitions? Let’s start.

Seri A

Seri A has been one of the most entertaining football leagues this year. Even after matchday 36, we still don’t have a clear winner, let alone which teams will qualify for the UCL. Napoli is leading the charts, but Inter Milan, who’ve clinched a narrow victory over Barcelona in the UCL semi-final is just 3 points behind them.

The difference in points between Inter and Atalanta is huge. So, it’s safe to say that Napoli, along with Inter has a sure shot at next year’s UCL. But, as for Atalanta, Juventus, Roma, and Lazio, these teams are going to fight for the 2 remaining UCL and 1 UEL spots.

Having said that, you wouldn’t want to miss the upcoming Seri A fixtures as every match is going to be a nail-biter. And to catch the live action, I’ve already bundled TV with Spectrum Internet Packages to access top sports channels like Paramount+.

Besides Seri A, I can live-stream UCL, UEL, and EPL on Paramount+ in HD like a breeze!

La Liga

While Inter has shattered Barcelona’s dreams of winning a treble this year, they can still win La Liga besides the Copa Del Ray. The cherry on top, Barca can do it against Real Madrid, the same opposition they won Copa Del Ray against.

But, there’s not much of a point difference between the two teams and Real Madrid will hope to cover the gap. But Barcelona and Real Madrid should easily qualify for UCL, as Atletico Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, and Villareal are way behind.

The other 2 UCL and 1 UEL seats will likely be filled by these clubs. That being said, no football fan should ever discard Real Betis who can still disrupt the points table and qualify for UEL to shock the contending teams.

English Premier League

Liverpool has already dominated the EPL in Arne Slot’s inaugural season, so what’s left to discuss, right? Well, there are 4 UCL and 1 UEL spots vacant, and some fierce football clubs fighting over them.

Arsenal and Manchester City have the brightest chances to qualify for the UCL. Even though the Gunners have been slightly negligent in EPL since they progressed further and further in UCL this season, they would hope and try not to slip past behind Manchester City

Simply because Arsenal fans would never accept Manchester City ending up 2nd on the point tables even after having one of their worst seasons.

After City and Arsenal, we have Newcastle, Chelsea, Nottingham Forrest, and Aston Villa. And, any of them can qualify for the UCL and UEL next season because there isn’t much point difference between them.

Bundesliga

Before analyzing Bundesliga clubs, I’d love to congratulate Harry Kane’s fans as they’ve waited for an eternity to win a trophy. Anyway, as you may well know, Bayern has once again clinched the Bundesliga title with a few matchdays left. And, it’s up to other clubs to fill in the UCL and UEL spots.

Besides Bayern, only Bayer Leverkusen has a sure shot at the next year’s UCL.  Below them are Frankfurt, Freiburg, and Dortmund, who are all going to fight for a UCL appearance next year.

That being said, I believe Dortmund is going to be fiercer than ever in the upcoming matches to restore their glory. With their current form, it’d be no less than a miracle to easily qualify for the UCL, but as things stand now, they have a fair chance like the other UCL contenders.

Ligue 1

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) has always been a powerhouse in the Ligue 1, and this year, they’ve dominated the league. They’ve retained the Ligue 1 championship with a few matchdays still left, but it’s Marseille, Monaco, Nice, and Lille who the football pundits and fans will be watching.

Keep in mind that, unlike other top European football leagues, Ligue 1 has only 3 UCL spots. PSG has already filled one spot, and the remaining two are left to compete for. Frankly speaking, there is a narrow margin between all the clubs fighting for UCL and UEL spots and anyone can clinch it.

But, as for next year’s Ligue 1 champions, I’ll blindly put my money on PSG as they won’t let any other club dominate the French league, for sure.

Well, that’s all from my side. The European football is going to fire up in the next few weeks. And with the last few matchdays left, all the UCL and UEL contenders are going to give their all on the pitch to book their place in the prestigious competitions.
